About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform assignments supporting construction activities across construction groups
- Build spreadsheets and analyze trends
- Communicate information to site staff and departments
- Travel to construction sites and assist directly with field operations
- Assist with project controls, including cost tracking and schedule development
- Support field operations including facilitation, inspection, project controls, and safety
- Assist with construction estimates and pre-planning safety and health activities
- Audit construction activities for compliance with company and project safety and health requirements
- Execute safety and health program elements in the assigned field
- Perform shop inspections with the quality group
- Review codes and requirements
- Support material applications and procurement logistics
- Package construction subcontracts and work with site materials management
- Support startup activities in the home office, including proposal preparation, commodity evaluations, and spreadsheet tool development
- Support field startup through progress tracking, cost evaluations, turnover package development, system walkdowns, and punch-list maintenance
- Perform other assignments requested by construction management
- Analyze and communicate results of assigned work
- Work as an individual contributor without subordinates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Construction degree from a recognized ABET-accredited program in the candidate’s home country or country of professional practice
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship requirement
- Willingness to relocate for the job role
- Reliable transportation
- BS in Construction Science, Engineering, or Management preferred, or relevant experience
- Some field experience strongly preferred
