About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define how Blackpoint Cyber’s products are positioned, messaged, understood, and adopted in the market
- Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, customer success, enablement, and the SOC to understand customer pain points, solution value, and the buying journey
- Translate complex technical content into clear messaging and storylines for executives, business owners, IT professionals, and security professionals
- Create sales enablement materials including one-pagers, objection-handling documents, solution sheets, comparison pages, FAQs, datasheets, and pitch materials
- Position Blackpoint competitively in the Managed Detection and Response market
- Engage industry analysts and influencers to strengthen market presence and reputation
- Work with Product Management to translate customer problems and product capabilities into market messaging
- Develop messaging frameworks, battlecards, solution briefs, and product presentations
- Partner with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Enablement to improve field readiness
- Create product webinars, website messaging, product videos, and blog posts
- Determine product launch tiers and educate the company on launch-tier rationale
- Lead cross-functional launch coordination across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Technical Support, Enablement, and Sales Engineering
- Support marketing campaigns with product messaging and positioning
- Conduct competitive research across MDR, ITDR, EDR, agentic SOC, and adjacent cybersecurity categories
- Identify differentiators and develop competitive positioning, partner-focused narratives, and field-facing enablement materials
- Gather customer, prospect, partner, analyst, and field-team insights to inform messaging and go-to-market execution
- Maintain awareness of customer challenges, security operations trends, and competitor messaging
- Partner with the SE team on internal- and external-facing battlecards and competitive enablement
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8-10 years of product marketing, product management, customer success, or sales engineering roles within the cybersecurity industry
- Cybersecurity product marketing experience including a minimum of one of the following technologies: EDR, ITDR, SIEM, Security Awareness Training
- Understanding of the MSP market, including how MSPs think, market, and sell to end customers
- Ability to evaluate Blackpoint’s offerings relative to competitors and articulate how the platform fits into modern security strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience crafting compelling content for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience developing clear messaging, positioning, and value propositions for target markets
- Ability to lead small to medium cross-functional projects with minimal oversight
- Highly self-motivated and resourceful; comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience engaging external stakeholders through webinars, presentations, or events
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to synthesize market, customer, and competitive insights into actionable strategies
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must not require current or future sponsorship to work within the United States
