About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver an excellent client and sales experience
- Deliver the MPS value proposition to clients in partnership with USWA Market Teams, including market views and insights, investment capability and portfolio positioning overviews, and thought leadership on asset allocation and portfolio construction
- Support business engagements and existing client relationships through virtual updates and in-person meetings as needed
- Build relationships with sales, distribution partners and advisory clients to deliver commercial results
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, communications, technology, legal and compliance teams
- Work closely with model portfolio managers and research analysts to convey systematic investment and market insights
- Deliver Portfolio Manager insights through written, audio and video mediums for internal and external audiences
- Provide ongoing client feedback to the Portfolio Manager team
- Support initiatives to scale the Models business and its integration across MASS and other parts of BlackRock
- Improve the Models operating model and deliver automation and scale-oriented projects
- Support day-to-day operating procedures with Core PM and Models Infrastructure
- Lead new product development initiatives with sales, marketing, communications, product strategy and other teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS required
- A minimum of 3 years investment or asset management experience
- Experience using AI tools to gather and synthesize data, automate workflows, improve productivity, and summarize/translate output into commercial takeaways for different audiences
- Combination of investment, analytical, technical and client skills
- Fluid understanding of financial markets, portfolio construction and analysis
- Entrepreneurial with a sense of ownership and keen sense to build a business
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process
- Collegial attitude and eagerness to partner with numerous teams across MASS and the broader firm
- Advanced Degree / CFA / CAIA / CFP, or progress towards, is strongly preferred
