About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the Global Service Owner of Mobility Services
- Manage mobility services and a budget exceeding $13 million
- Handle invoice and expense management for all mobility vendors
- Maintain an accurate inventory of mobility services
- Collaborate with Finance on budget projections and fiscal-year adjustments
- Partner with Supplier Vendor Management to negotiate contracts with 37 global mobile carriers
- Oversee the partnership with Tangoe, the third-party Telecom Expense Management provider
- Evaluate new Tangoe service offerings and telecommunications trends
- Collaborate with senior management and key partners across Finance, SVM, Legal & Compliance, Mobile Engineering, Unified Communications, and Deskside teams
- Serve as a primary escalation contact for global mobility partners
- Coordinate a distributed team of five staff members, including day-to-day activities, projects, work distribution, objectives, and career growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 7+ years of managerial experience in the Mobile telecommunications field
- Excellent leadership, communication, and managerial skills
- Skilled in operating within matrix structures
- Experience cultivating strong vendor partnerships
- Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- Experience with automation, AI, and Copilot for metric reporting is preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to perform well under high-pressure situations
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to meet assertive deadlines for the delivery of telecom services
