Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow and retain defined contribution assets under management in the Pacific Northwest Region of the U.S.
  • Market through advisors, consultants, recordkeepers, and other strategic partners
  • Maintain established relationships and develop new prospects
  • Market multi-asset, equity, fixed income, target date, and index funds
  • Develop, forge, and maintain relationships with advisors, consultants, and strategic partners
  • Implement distribution strategies to grow DC assets under management, emphasizing core active and target date strategies
  • Demonstrate mastery of BlackRock products and resources
  • Partner consultatively with advisor and consultant practices on markets, DC trends, and regulatory changes
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues to deliver BlackRock resources and solutions
  • Respond to day-to-day client requests regarding support, marketing, and distribution strategies
  • Track activities and maintain contact information in CRM
  • Travel substantially for client engagements as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 required
  • Minimum 5+ years in a relevant industry sales or relationship management role
  • Consistent track record of growing revenue
  • Strong understanding of defined contribution trends, regulation, and ecosystem
  • Knowledge of capital markets and equity, fixed income, and multi-asset portfolios
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, maturity, and judgment
  • Proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Effective team player able to work with people of all levels
  • High self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics
  • Motivation by sales and revenue retention
