About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design scalable service/microservice patterns, database schemas, caching layers, and authentication flows
Ship production-grade front-end and back-end code with strong test coverage
Integrate model endpoints and manage real-time inference
Implement robust error-handling and fallback mechanisms
Drive code-review rigor, CI/CD pipeline health, and observability instrumentation
Pair-program, lead brown-bag sessions, and advise junior engineers on technical decisions
Collaborate with UX/Product, AI/ML Practice, and ML Ops teams to deliver client solutions
Contribute to engineering best practices and raise the team’s technical bar

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–8 years of full-stack development experience
Strength in modern front-end and cloud-native back-end stacks
Experience designing and operating systems in AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience using Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CDK
Solid understanding of security, performance tuning, and API versioning best practices
Experience with React and TypeScript
Experience with Node, Go, or JVM back-end technologies
Experience designing scalable services/microservices, database schemas, caching layers, and authentication flows
Experience integrating model endpoints and managing real-time inference
Strong test coverage, error handling, and fallback mechanisms
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability instrumentation
Client-facing environment experience; startup or consulting experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Must reside within a commutable distance to Minneapolis, MN
Must answer questions regarding U.S. employment authorization and sponsorship
