About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and draft articles of association, amendments to articles of association, and other corporate documents, seeking the best technical solution and assisting with the corresponding registrations
  • Analyze and draft corporate documents, including minutes of partners’ meetings, shareholders’ meetings, and partners’ and/or shareholders’ agreements
  • Research and respond to inquiries regarding business and corporate law, family law, and succession law
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions transactions and legal due diligence processes
  • Assist attorneys in the practice group with corporate law projects, succession and estate planning, and Corporate and Family Governance matters

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law
  • Admission to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
  • Knowledge of legislation, particularly the Brazilian Civil Code provisions applicable to family and succession law
  • Knowledge of corporate law and the Brazilian Corporations Law (Lei das S/A)
  • General knowledge of Tax Law
  • At least four years of prior experience in corporate law
  • Intermediate or advanced English is a plus
