About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide ongoing analytics and reporting support for a card portfolio, particularly a new card program
- Develop understanding of portfolio performance, business objectives, and stakeholder needs
- Develop, refine, and maintain recurring business reports and dashboards
- Research data, analyze results, and translate findings into clear business insights
- Analyze portfolio performance, trends, and key drivers
- Present findings through reports, presentations, and business recommendations
- Partner with stakeholders to translate questions and reporting needs into actionable analysis
- Serve as a trusted thought partner and proactively identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Evaluate and improve existing reports and reporting processes
- Simplify and streamline complex reporting into user-friendly formats
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve reporting consistency
- Collaborate on reporting automation and process improvements
- Manage multiple requests and priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness
- Communicate analytical findings to analytical and non-technical audiences
- Build stakeholder relationships and establish credibility through reliable follow-through
- Work independently and escalate issues when appropriate
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting, card services, card operations, or a related field
- Experience working with business reporting and analyzing quantitative information to identify trends, performance drivers, and meaningful business implications
- Strong knowledge of payments, card services, card operations, or card portfolio management
- Experience developing, refining, and maintaining business reports
- Experience with DataChoice, First Data, or Symitar strongly preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong data analysis capabilities
- Ability to translate data into clear, actionable business recommendations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-enabled productivity tools strongly preferred
- Strong business judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on Blend’s W2 without sponsorship
- Must work Pacific or Mountain Time
