About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide ongoing analytics and reporting support for a card portfolio, with a particular focus on a new card program
  • Develop a strong understanding of portfolio performance, business objectives, and stakeholder needs
  • Develop, refine, and maintain recurring business reports and dashboards
  • Research data, analyze results, and translate findings into clear business insights
  • Analyze portfolio performance, trends, and key drivers to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Present findings through reports, presentations, and business recommendations
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate questions, objectives, and reporting needs into actionable analysis
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner by proactively identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Evaluate existing reports and processes to simplify, streamline, and improve recurring deliverables
  • Help transform complex reporting into efficient, user-friendly, actionable formats
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve reporting consistency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical partners on reporting automation and process improvements
  • Manage multiple requests and priorities while maintaining accuracy, quality, and responsiveness
  • Communicate analytical findings to analytical and non-technical audiences
  • Build strong working relationships and establish credibility through reliable follow-through and practical business insight
  • Work independently while asking questions, seeking context, or escalating issues when appropriate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting, card services, card operations, or a related field
  • Experience working with business reporting and analyzing quantitative information to identify trends, performance drivers, and meaningful business implications
  • Strong knowledge of payments, card services, card operations, or card portfolio management
  • Experience developing, refining, and maintaining business reports
  • Experience working with DataChoice, First Data, or Symitar is required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong data analysis capabilities
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable business recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-enabled productivity tools is strongly preferred
  • Strong business judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of deliverables
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, business-focused approach to analysis
  • Must be able to work on Blend’s W2 without sponsorship
  • Must work Pacific or Mountain Time
