About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, architect, and develop Shopify apps, plugins, and API integrations
Full-stack development using React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript
Integrate third-party systems via REST and GraphQL interfaces
Ensure performance, code quality, and scalability
Build responsive and accessible UI components
Conduct code reviews, unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as debugging
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Create technical documentation
Collaborate with Design, Product, and QA teams throughout product development

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of full-stack development experience
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React (Next.js), and Node.js (Express)
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD
Strong knowledge of API design, security (OAuth), and performance optimization
Ideally, familiarity with Shopify Polaris, webhooks, and GraphQL
Structured approach to work and willingness to take ownership
Fluent German and good English
