About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build the US SDR function from scratch
- Hire the founding US SDR team of 6 to 8 representatives
- Set hiring standards, run interview loops, and make hiring decisions
- Own the US SDR pipeline number and forecast it to the VP of Business Development
- Build outbound cadence, qualification, SDR-to-AE handoff, and HubSpot CRM hygiene processes
- Coach the team daily through call reviews, weekly one-to-ones, and live feedback
- Own and continuously improve onboarding and ramp plans
- Adapt the DACH playbook to the US market and develop US-specific processes
- Partner with the US country lead and AEs on targeting, account strategy, and SDR/AE alignment
- Develop the US playbook, including responsive segments, buying triggers, and messaging for finance and procurement buyers
- Validate the US ideal customer profile with RevOps
- Build scorecards and performance review cadences
- Act as a player-coach and perform hands-on pipeline generation until the team is fully built
- Report directly to the VP of Business Development, with a dotted line to the US country lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience managing an SDR or BDR team, ideally in enterprise B2B SaaS
- Experience hiring and ramping SDR/BDR representatives
- Experience carrying and hitting a pipeline number as a leader
- Ability to forecast pipeline accurately and honestly
- Knowledge of the US market and US enterprise buyers
- Ideally, exposure to Finance, Procurement, or Operations personas
- Strong coaching ability, including call reviews and improving rep performance
- Comfort working in an ambiguous, build-from-scratch environment
- Ability to build a high-standard, enjoyable team culture
- Ownership mindset and ability to act on feedback quickly
- Exposure to ERP, Purchase-to-Pay, or Order-to-Cash processes, or selling into Finance and Procurement, is a strong plus
- Experience standing up an SDR team in a new market or region is a bonus
- Knowledge of the ERP domain or experience leading teams selling Finance, Procurement, or industrial software is a bonus
- Familiarity with HubSpot and Clay is a bonus
- Experience building scorecards and review cadences from scratch is a bonus
- Legally authorized to work in the USA
- Must not require, now or in the future, BLP Digital to sponsor an employment visa
