About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform as an autonomous and fully integrated member of the Corporate Strategy Office team
- Assist with research and data gathering, including secondary research, market trends, company priorities, vendor research, and Blue profiles
- Develop executive-ready presentations, briefings, and other compelling, visually driven communications
- Oversee collection and reporting of key performance indicators and metrics for the organization’s three-year strategic plan
- Participate in strategy discussions with senior management and cross-departmental teams
- Assist in creating and executing internal communications, including ideation, concept design, copywriting, script writing, and other design elements
- Administer and oversee the strategy home page
- Design, create, and deploy surveys, including tracking and sharing results
- Complete ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Junior or Senior level undergraduate preferred, recent graduate or graduate level student in Management, Finance, Public Health, Project Management, ISDS, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, Master of Health Administration, MBA or related fields of study
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5; 3.0 preferred
- Experience demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, research, data analysis, and data reporting
- Ability to operate independently and proactively advance work
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Effective oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to think analytically and present ideas professionally
- Self-motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment, and team-oriented
- Must be able to work a minimum of 20–25 hours per week during the spring and fall semesters
- Must have a dedicated and distraction-free environment for remote work
- If on-site attendance is required, must have transportation to commute regularly to and from the Baton Rouge campus
- Residency in or relocation to Louisiana is preferred for all positions
- Background and pre-employment drug screening required after an offer and prior to hire
