About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand reporting and analytics needs
Gather, document, and analyze business reporting requirements
Map business requirements to source data structures and develop data models across multiple data stores
Design, build, and maintain dashboards and visualizations using BI applications such as Tableau or Domo
Ensure dashboards are creatively designed and communicate the story behind the data
Analyze report data for accuracy and report potential quality errors
Participate in peer reviews to ensure reports are accurate before distribution
Prioritize projects with business owners
Partner with IT to identify and store required data sets
Plan, communicate, and deliver data visualizations with stakeholders
Communicate the status of assigned items and backlog items
Provide analytics expertise and insights into data trends across operational segments
Lead dashboard demonstrations and educational sessions
Provide ad-hoc data analysis and support to business functions
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years of Business Intelligence experience
3 years of Data Analytics, Dashboarding, Reporting, or Analysis experience
High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study
Advanced skills in data applications such as Tableau, SQL, Power BI, and ETL
Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format
Creativity in designing data visualizations
Strong understanding of data structures
Strong analytical skills
Proficient data mining and normalization skills
Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing software
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Ability to communicate with employees at all levels across the organization
Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
Ability to complete tasks with limited supervision
Preferred: 5 years of Business Intelligence experience
Preferred: 5 years of Data Analytics, Dashboarding, Reporting, or Analysis experience
Preferred: 2 years of operational experience
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Business, or related field
Preferred: Advanced skills in Domo and Snowflake
Preferred: Moderate planning and project management skills
Preferred: Knowledge of statistical concepts and capabilities
Preferred: Data collection and warehousing knowledge
Preferred: Knowledge of the healthcare industry
