About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce solution designs to maintain and improve digital systems
- Ensure solutions conform to Architecture Principles
- Validate requirements to facilitate effective solution development
- Deliver Digital Impact Assessments, including squad effort sizing estimates
- Identify security impacts and communicate them to other teams
- Deliver digital architecture artefacts and review non-digital artefacts
- Work with third-party service providers when necessary
- Assess regulatory requirements including PCI, NACHA, HIPAA, and 508 compliance and their impact on digital solutions
- Design and implement high-performance, integrated web and mobile systems centered on the enterprise digital footprint
- Collaborate with IT Management, product owners, scrum masters, and project management throughout the software development lifecycle
- Provide business requirements input, technical requirements, estimates, status reports, and meet project deadlines
- Design security controls to protect networks, applications, and data
- Lead design and implementation of custom technical solutions across on-premises, Azure/AWS cloud, and hybrid cloud environments
- Align digital delivery plans with delivered work
- Facilitate communication between IT teams and business stakeholders on technical issues and major changes
- Educate, coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to team members
- Drive standardization of development environments, tools, and deployment procedures
- Participate in developing technical strategy and promote security technology
- Collaborate with Digital teams, IT leaders, business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and subject matter experts to improve the digital footprint
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7 years of experience with application design and development
- 3 years of experience architecting applications in .NET and Microsoft Technologies
- 3 years of experience implementing and integrating digital enterprise-level applications in a complex business environment
- 2 years of experience implementing or enhancing application security
- High School Diploma
- Strong knowledge of application security and securing complete solutions
- Mastery of coding design patterns and services architecture
- Experience documenting business processes and creating process flow diagrams, UML, and sequence diagrams
- Strong understanding of infrastructure hosting technologies and software development methodologies
- Extensive experience or understanding of services technologies and standards, .NET platform, and Web Service Specifications
- Technical expertise in XML, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, GRID, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, VB.NET, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, SQL, Content Management Systems, and GUI development
- Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture and security architecture concepts
- Advanced knowledge of object-oriented principles, design patterns, SOA, and enterprise systems
- Strong command of database design concepts
- Understanding of NoSQL, MS Dynamics CRM technologies, and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Enterprise Service Bus architecture in Microsoft BizTalk or another platform
- Familiarity with cloud technologies
- Ability to design and implement multi-tier architecture solutions and high-performance, secure systems and integrations
- Experience leading and implementing projects collaboratively across departments
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work full-time, at least 40 hours per week, with possible evening, weekend, or on-call schedules
