About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop technical documentation, designs, analyses, tests, end-user support, and training for new applications and data structures
Provide post-implementation reviews for systems and reporting supporting customers and management
Track, research, analyze, and resolve production problems and incidents
Develop business objectives, processing requirements, technical specifications, logic flows, and operational documentation
Analyze files and map data between systems
Write SQL queries for production support, testing, reporting, and mock-up data
Develop test data, execute test cases and scripts, analyze results, document defects, and perform regression testing
Assist with root-cause analysis and defect triage
Research application and procedural problems and recommend improvements
Translate business needs into technical solutions using SQL, C# or VB.NET, ETL, SOA, and OLAP
Maintain operational and disaster-recovery procedures
Participate in and lead projects of varying scope
Create reports, project plans, time estimates, schedules, presentations, and priority lists
Work with IT Infrastructure to develop and implement production monitoring
Build, support, and maintain processes, programs, and data
Research and become proficient in applications or data marts
Facilitate procedures and processes supporting advancing technologies
Provide peer review, mentoring, training, and subject-matter expertise at higher levels
Act as an operational contact for internal and external customers when needed
Ensure service-level agreements are met
Participate in on-call rotation and corporate quality and data governance programs
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must reside and work within the State of Arizona
High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study
Level 1: 1 year of college-level coursework in system requirements design and interpretation and/or support of production systems
Levels 2–4: 3 years of experience in computer technology and/or information systems
Levels 2–4: 2 years of experience in data analysis, data management and integration, extracting and analysis reporting
Intermediate PC proficiency
Intermediate proficiency in spreadsheet, database, flow charting, and word processing software
Intermediate knowledge of data mapping techniques and data analysis software
Intermediate knowledge of computer operating systems
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Suites, Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL databases
Strong analytical skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work with multiple priorities under time constraints
Verbal and written communication skills
Systems research and analysis skills
Ability to write and present business intelligence documentation
Knowledge of business requirements development and user acceptance testing
Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
Knowledge of data governance best practices and data quality improvement principles
Levels 2–4: Ability to facilitate and resolve customer requests and inquiries for all levels of management
Preferred: Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Preferred: Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet, SQL queries, database, flow charting, and word processing software
Preferred: Advanced knowledge of data mapping techniques, computer operating systems, decision support systems, programming, database systems, data management, and Business Objects
Preferred: Advanced systems research and analysis expertise
