Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop technical documentation and designs
  • Analyze and test applications and data structures
  • Provide end-user support and training for new applications and data structures
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews of systems and reporting solutions supporting customers and management
  • Research, analyze, track, and resolve complex production problems
  • Build, support, and maintain complex processes, programs, and data
  • Facilitate or create procedures and processes supporting advancing technologies or capabilities
  • Evaluate high-level project information and forecast required work effort
  • Provide peer review and mentoring to employees at Levels 1-3
  • Participate in or lead complex technical projects
  • Create complex ad hoc reports for internal and external use
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in two or more assigned areas, including business intelligence production reporting, application architecture, application architecture and support, or training
  • Participate in corporate quality and data-governance programs
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Remain current on developments in technology-related industries
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must reside and work within the State of Arizona
  • Levels 2-4: Three years of experience in computer technology and/or information systems
  • Levels 2-4: Two years of experience in data analysis, data management and integration, data extraction, and analytical reporting
  • High school diploma or GED in a general field of study
  • No required licenses
  • No required certifications
  • Intermediate skill in using office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, scanners, and telephones
  • Intermediate PC proficiency
  • Intermediate proficiency with spreadsheet, database, flowcharting, and word-processing software
  • Intermediate knowledge of data-mapping techniques and data-analysis software
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer operating systems
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications and suites, Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL databases
  • Strong analytical skills supporting independent and effective decision-making
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities, sometimes under limited time constraints
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Systems-research and analysis skills
  • Ability to write and present business-intelligence documentation
  • Ability to remain current on global threats and vulnerabilities
  • Experience working with and managing third parties
  • Knowledge of business-requirements development and user-acceptance testing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
  • Understanding of data-governance best practices and data-quality improvement principles
  • Preferred: Knowledge of HIPAA regulations; advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, SQL queries, databases, flowcharting, and word-processing software; advanced knowledge of data-mapping techniques, computer operating systems, decision-support systems, programming, database systems, data management, and BusinessObjects
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
