About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee staff responsible for system configuration solution delivery supporting Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina's enterprise strategy
Lead analysis, development, implementation, modification, and re-engineering of processes and systems
Manage employee performance, mentoring, conflict resolution, motivation, engagement, career development, succession planning, and resource allocation
Monitor team and departmental SLA performance and ensure standard support methodologies are used
Direct system configuration solutions using advanced functional and system configuration knowledge
Report delivery status and issues to upper management
Review and approve test plans, unit testing, configuration data migration, and configuration releases
Serve as point of contact for business testing, analyze results, and provide impact assessments and recommendations
Coordinate with IT and business operations on system upgrades, security changes, and architectural enhancements
Lead analysis, development, configuration, and maintenance of complex system tables and data elements
Coordinate configuration accuracy and compliance with change control processes
Elicit requirements, lead configuration delivery for complex corporate projects, facilitate project intake, and review configuration specifications
Lead implementation and post-implementation support and ensure smooth transition between projects and operations
Provide advanced user support for complex questions, inquiries, and service requests

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
5+ years of experience in related field
In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field
Experience with system configuration solution delivery, business testing, configuration release management, project/program support, and operations support is required by the stated role duties
