About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and manage the team sprint backlog
  • Establish priorities aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and product roadmap commitments
  • Work with the Product Manager to communicate customer desires and business priorities in the product backlog
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to define user stories and own the team/sprint backlog
  • Decompose features into stories or smaller work items for team execution and delivery
  • Map product vision to user stories using Product Manager and stakeholder input
  • Act as liaison between the business/customer and delivery team
  • Represent expectations of interested stakeholder segments
  • Develop and maintain business knowledge for the assigned Spoke or business area
  • Define user stories and support team members as they write user stories

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required), or 5+ years of experience in a related field in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field
  • Product Owner certification preferred (Scrum Alliance or SAFe)
