About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver consistent, profitable Blue Cross NC Major Group sales
  • Promote group retention and sales of new product lines to existing clients
  • Serve as lead relationship manager for key client stakeholders
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and producers

  • Collaborate with Client Services on group issues, project management, and delivery needs
  • Coordinate renewals and enrollment with the Group Center of Excellence and Operations
  • Identify and document best practices and communicate client experiences
  • Maintain community relationships and corporate image
  • Monitor competitor positioning and market needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in a related field
  • Must be able to obtain a North Carolina Health and Life Insurance license within 60 days of employment
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Strong communication and presentation experience
  • Existing broker relationships preferred
  • Proven ability to negotiate in high-pressure situations
  • Advanced organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage difficult situations
