About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain Program Schedules within the Integrated Master Schedule
  • Partner with technical leadership to support resource loading of schedules and analyze requirements for program milestones
  • Support change-management initiatives and incorporate approved baseline changes into schedules
  • Orchestrate critical reviews, capture collaborator updates, ensure schedule health, and analyze schedule logic
  • Provide program leadership with insights into status, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with Program Cost Analysts to maintain coordinated cost and schedule plans for budgeting and cost analysis
  • Work with PP&C counterparts across business units to improve schedule development, analysis, reporting, and performance methods

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Project Management, or Engineering
  • Experience with integrated master schedules with resource loading using Primavera (P6), Open Plan, MS Project, or other software
  • Experience and comfort with working in ambiguous environments and situations
  • Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience in program scheduling/planning and controls
  • Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Project)
  • Outstanding communication skills in technical work environments
  • Experience in aerospace research and development and manufacturing environments preferred
  • Expert user of Primavera P6 and MS Project preferred
  • Experience with EVM-required contracts preferred
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Analysis preferred
  • Successful support of programs through DCMA/DCAA, joint site surveillance, or other government audits preferred
  • Proposal support, including translation of BOEs into IMSs upon award, preferred
  • MBA or Project Management certification (PMP/Certified Project Manager) preferred
  • Active Top Secret Clearance preferred or ability to obtain future clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
  • Ability to pass Blue's Standard Background Check
