About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and drive end-to-end solutions and implementation plans to improve inventory management
  • Drive Inventory Control Operations priorities and improve weekly throughput metrics and Inventory Quality
  • Gather requirements with cross-functional teams and partner with product management and software engineering on software development plans
  • Align project scope, schedules, and resources with business goals
  • Document programs, track milestones, manage risks, and communicate proactively
  • Translate business requirements into executable technical deliverables
  • Identify and resolve program risks, impediments, and cross-team dependencies
  • Track key metrics and program progress
  • Provide transparent status updates and drive accountability among team members and stakeholders
  • Promote continuous improvement in development efficiency, software quality, and team collaboration
  • Maintain relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders and clarify goals, commitments, and progress
  • Visit Blue Origin warehouse or operations sites as needed, with travel under 10%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of experience in program management or similar roles within supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to create and manage detailed program plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver complex projects
  • Experience working with software engineering teams
  • Experience participating in Agile or similar methodologies
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive alignment across multiple teams
  • Experience working with supply chain software systems, such as inventory/warehouse management, procurement, or transportation/logistics platforms
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience with software project management tools, Agile frameworks, and technical documentation
  • Track record of delivering programs in fast-paced, high-growth, or complex operational environments
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and change in dynamic settings
  • Passion for Blue Origin’s mission and vision
  • U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident/current Green Card holder, or lawfully admitted U.S. refugee or asylee
  • Required to complete Blue’s Standard Background Check
