About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
Provide direct patient care, conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary
Ensure all patient care complies with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Practice autonomously in the patient's best interest without corporate administrative interference
Collaborate with therapists and prescribers in multidisciplinary teams
Meet regularly with collaborating therapists to discuss patient cases or clinical topics
Perform clinical work from home on a self-selected schedule
Attend virtual clinical conferences at least weekly during the first 90 days, then monthly

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a PMHNP license and open to licensing in alternative states
1+ years of experience as a PMHNP required
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals
Strong computer and technology skills
Strong clinical background in psychiatry
Strong background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments
Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills
Master's (Required)
