About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
- Provide direct patient care, conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary
- Ensure patient care complies with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
- Practice autonomously in the patient's best interest without corporate administrative interference
- Collaborate with therapists and prescribers through team-based onboarding and matching
- Meet regularly with collaborating therapists, at least monthly, to discuss patient cases or clinical topics
- Perform clinical work from home on a self-selected schedule
- Attend virtual clinical team meetings
- Attend at least one clinical conference weekly during the first 90 days, then one monthly
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a PMHNP license and be open to licensing in alternative states
- 1+ years of experience as a PMHNP required
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Strong clinical background in psychiatry
- Strong background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments
- Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Master's degree required
- PMHNP certification/license required
