About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and manage product lab environments
Facilitate hands-on testing of products and related solution stacks
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and implement working environments for lab users
Deploy virtual machines to create network topologies and scenarios
Perform software installations, activation, and configuration
Apply software patches and upgrades to keep environments updated
Develop strategies to improve simulation and testing of real-world conditions
Collaborate with product leaders to document requested testing and formulate test plans
Perform detailed product-level feature, capability, and functional testing
Report testing results
Partner with product management and other stakeholders on additional lab, software, and business activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in a related technical role such as IT support, customer support engineer, DevOps, or product management
Experience operating VMware
Experience configuring Windows and Linux systems
Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, packet capture, DNS, and DHCP
Technical degree or certifications, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Cisco, or VMware
Willingness to collaborate within a global organization across time zones and cultures
Effective research skills
Ability to leverage AI to collect, organize, and integrate results
Writing samples demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts
Entrepreneurial mindset, can-do attitude, adaptability, and results-driven approach
Ability to work independently and be self-directed
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage concurrent projects
Team-oriented and open to professional discourse and feedback
