About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with software engineers to ensure product quality and reliability through manual and automated testing
Contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and identifying risks to building automated tests, investigating defects, and improving testing practices
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests
Build and maintain reliable automated test suites
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Test APIs and integrations as part of end-to-end product validation
Identify, investigate, document, and track defects through resolution
Collaborate with software engineers to improve testability and identify quality risks early
Contribute to automated testing within CI/CD pipelines
Improve testing practices, automation frameworks, and overall product quality
Share knowledge and provide guidance to less experienced QA team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing
Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies
Experience with modern web test automation frameworks
Good programming or scripting skills, preferably JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Experience with functional, regression, integration, and API testing
Experience with Git or another version control system
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional engineering team
Proactive approach to quality and continuous improvement
Nice to have: Experience with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Robot or similar web automation technologies
Nice to have: Experience with API test automation
Nice to have: Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Nice to have: Familiarity with performance testing
Nice to have: Experience working in an Agile development environment
Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
