About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support incentive calculations, account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance research
Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards
Create reports on financial performance for internal and external use
Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
Create and utilize automated tools for updating, analyzing, and reporting consolidated financial results
Analyze large datasets to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience is required
Equivalent work experience: 4 years of experience in related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
Capacity to solve problems and manage multiple assignments with critical deadlines
Strong analytical skills
Thorough understanding and knowledge of financial and accounting theory
Sponsorship is not available for this position
Preference will be given to candidates within a 50-mile radius of Chattanooga
