About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist Investment Officers in communication with financial institutions, BlueOrchard offices worldwide, and third parties
- Support monitoring and analysis of financial institutions and independently perform investment-related tasks
- Conduct desk research on country risk, regulatory and competitive environments of local investees and potential new markets
- Support the investment team in portfolio analysis and investor reporting
- Assist with origination, structuring, analysis, investment proposals, investee monitoring, debt transaction analysis, and relationship management
- Support BlueOrchard operations and internal and external reporting as needed
- Learn BlueOrchard’s business model, business processes, and investment methodology
- Perform research and assist colleagues with risk analysis and reporting
- Develop knowledge of investees and financial markets in the region to support Investment Officers’ objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor or Master’s degree, preferably in finance, business administration, related field or a similar professional experience
- Experience in financial modelling is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel
- VBA skill is a plus
- Proficiency in English
- Fluency in Russian is desirable
- Ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment
- Reliable and committed, self-starter with strong work ethics and positive energy
- Excellent team player with high service orientation
- Proactive, result-driven, flexible with a “hands-on” approach
- Willingness to perform administrative tasks
