About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments
Prepare, wrap, pack, palletize, skid, and crate outgoing parts, packages, and equipment
Safely prepare and load outgoing packages and equipment
Use computer hardware and software to generate labels and maintain equipment
Process outbound items in accordance with Sales Orders
Accurately process and document outbound shipments
Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and/or forklifts as needed
Maintain and organize adequate shipping supplies
Safely offload materials from vendors and customer returns
Check package contents against packing lists and manifests
Process, sort, and distribute receivables to the correct Job Number and Sales Order Number
Process receipts in the ERP and store products in designated locations
Move finished products to designated storage locations
Receive and inspect returned products and communicate issues to appropriate BPA contacts
Receive, document, and process damaged receipts
Communicate with assembly and manufacturing teams regarding inbound part statuses
Perform daily cleanup and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent)
2 years of manufacturing-related experience in shipping and receiving required
Combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration
Experience utilizing tracking systems for UPS, FedEx, and DHL required
Previous experience processing electronic UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipping and tracking
Ability to read and write English
Ability to follow verbal instructions and use simple math
Demonstrated experience with computer-generated inventory systems
Proficiency with pneumatic nail guns and banding equipment
Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds
Ability to kneel, crouch, and stoop
Ability to reach above and below the shoulders
Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull
Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground
Ability to walk and climb stairs
Successful completion of a drug screen and background check
Strong work ethic and good problem-solving skills
Ability to interact efficiently with others
