About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
Provide direct patient care
Conduct patient assessments
Develop treatment plans
Prescribe medications as necessary
Ensure patient care complies with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Collaborate with therapists and prescribers in multidisciplinary teams
Meet regularly with collaborating therapists, at least monthly, to discuss patient cases or clinical topics
Attend at least one clinical conference per week during the first 90 days of employment
Attend one clinical conference monthly after the first 90 days

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a PMHNP license
Open to licensing in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA
At least 6 months of prior work experience as a PMHNP
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals
Solid computer and basic technology skills
Strong clinical background in psychiatry
Strong background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments
Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills
