About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
Provide direct patient care
Conduct patient assessments
Develop treatment plans
Prescribe medications as necessary
Ensure patient care complies with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Practice autonomously in the best interest of patients
Join a team consisting of multiple therapists and a prescriber
Collaborate with therapists through regular staffing at least monthly
Attend clinical conferences

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a PMHNP license
Open to licensing in alternative states
Prior work as a PMHNP preferred but not required
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals
Solid computer and basic technology skills
Strong clinical background in psychiatry
Strong background in diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments
Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Attend at least one clinical conference per week during the first 90 days of employment; thereafter, attend one monthly
