About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
Provide direct patient care
Conduct patient assessments
Develop treatment plans
Prescribe medications as necessary
Ensure patient care complies with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Collaborate with therapists and participate in regular staffing to discuss patient cases or clinical topics
Attend clinical conferences at least once weekly during the first 90 days, then monthly
Perform clinical work from home with virtual clinical team meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a PMHNP license in MA
Open to licensing in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington
Prior work as a PMHNP preferred but not required
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals
Solid computer and basic technology skills
Strong clinical background in psychiatry
Strong background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments
Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills
