About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
Provide direct patient care
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans
Prescribe medications as clinically appropriate
Deliver care in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines
Work within collaborative clinical teams consisting of therapists and a psychiatric prescriber
Participate in regular staffing with collaborating therapists at least monthly to discuss patient cases, treatment coordination, and clinical topics
Provide clinical services remotely from home
Participate in virtual clinical team meetings
Attend BlueSky clinical conferences at least once per week during the first 90 days and once per month thereafter

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must hold an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one served state: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA
Must be willing to obtain additional state licenses as needed
Prior PMHNP experience preferred but not required
Must not own or operate a private practice
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals
Strong clinical background in psychiatry and behavioral health
Strong knowledge and experience in assessing and diagnosing psychiatric disorders and providing psychopharmacological treatment
Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions
Strong computer skills and comfort using EHRs, telehealth platforms, and other basic technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to provide patient-centered, evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth environment
