About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
  • Provide direct patient care
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments

  • Work within collaborative clinical teams of therapists and a psychiatric prescriber
  • Connect with eligible psychotherapists seeking a prescriber during onboarding
  • Participate in staffing with collaborating therapists at least monthly to discuss patient cases, treatment coordination, and clinical topics
  • Provide clinical services remotely from home
  • Participate in virtual clinical team meetings
  • Attend BlueSky clinical conferences four times per week; attendance required at least weekly during the first 90 days and monthly thereafter

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must hold an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one served state: Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington
  • Must be willing to obtain additional state licenses as needed
  • Prior PMHNP experience is preferred but not required
  • Must not own or operate a private practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals
  • Strong clinical background in psychiatry and behavioral health
  • Strong knowledge and experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and psychopharmacological treatment
  • Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions
  • Strong computer skills and comfort using EHRs, telehealth platforms, and basic technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to provide patient-centered, evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth environment
