About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Apply advanced accounting, finance, and technical skills to implement accounting ERP systems and provide business intelligence services
Conduct system reviews and system design/set-up
Ensure compliance and perform report-writing
Prepare updates and status reports
Coach functional users on implementation tools and templates
Check work for quality control and orient, train, assign, and review junior staff
Provide excellent customer service and meet assigned project deliverables
Perform implementation and accounting-related tasks as assigned
Execute implementation tasks in accordance with established controls and procedures
Conduct research and analysis to resolve issues or develop processes and procedures
Lead and execute complex ERP implementation and business intelligence projects for government contracting clients
Serve as a primary client contact and provide project delivery oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance
6+ years of ERP implementation experience
3+ years of experience implementing Deltek Costpoint
Advanced knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting required
Knowledge of government contract accounting principles and FAR strongly preferred
Proficient in computers and standard office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel
Proficient with Deltek Costpoint
Able to effectively lead a team
Able to serve as a mentor to mid-level consultants
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Able to pursue opportunities to provide additional products and services to clients
Strong project management skills required
Able to travel up to 40% of the time
