About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare, review, and submit clean claims daily through Open Dental
- Obtain detailed insurance breakdowns and input them into patient files
- Follow up on outstanding, denied, or rejected claims
- Audit aging reports
- Process co-pays
- Post insurance payments
- Support pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and general dentistry practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must currently reside in and be eligible to work in Nevada, California, Oregon, Idaho, or Washington
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience navigating Open Dental claims administration
- Familiarity with DentalXchange, Trex (Vyne), or other major billing clearinghouses is highly preferred
- Exceptional phone communication and patience for navigating insurance IVRs
- Fully comfortable working consistent Pacific Time Zone hours
- Successful completion of a routine pre-employment drug screening is required
- Ability to prepare, review, and submit dental claims
- Ability to obtain insurance breakdowns and maintain accurate patient files
- Attention to detail for auditing aging reports, processing co-pays, and posting insurance payments
