About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help maintain a network of 200+ servers in 50+ countries
Help configure servers to capture Audio, Video, TV, and Radio signals
Assist with installing and maintaining servers in data centers
Work with encoding/transcoding of Audio and Video signals
Communicate with hostings, providers, customers, and technical and non-technical company teams
Help troubleshoot and resolve recording and infrastructure issues
Support automation of repetitive tasks and improvement of existing processes
Support the maintenance and evolution of the current recording system

Requirements

What you’ll need

Comfortable working in a Linux environment
Familiarity with scripting languages
Strong listening, asking, understanding, and communication abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team
Curiosity about how things work and problem-solving mindset
Self-motivated and willing to learn
Ability to find efficient solutions to problems
Experience with Python
Experience with FFmpeg
Basic knowledge of networking, servers, or infrastructure
Fluency in English
Spanish is a plus
