About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support and service for BMO’s Investment Operations function and business stakeholders
  • Execute Investment product and service processes in compliance with financial and regulatory controls
  • Gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
  • Support change management execution and sustainment activities
  • Serve as a problem-solving resource for more junior staff
  • Organize work information for accuracy and completeness
  • Execute service requests, transactions, queries, and other routine tasks within SLAs
  • Process transactions and activities accurately and timely in response to stakeholder requests
  • Respond accurately and knowledgeably to internal and external stakeholder questions
  • Follow documented policies and procedures for daily operations
  • Check and reconcile information and documentation
  • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations
  • Identify, resolve, or escalate issues and problems
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships and meet service delivery expectations
  • Collaborate on new processes, systems, and process improvements
  • Support development of tools and delivery of business-focused training
  • Handle complex and diverse tasks and escalations
  • Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions aligned with business strategy and applicable laws and policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 2–3 years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study desirable, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Good knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology
  • Good knowledge and understanding of business unit products, services, processes, and controls
  • Good knowledge of business risk and regulatory requirements
  • Good prioritization skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organization skills
  • Good collaboration and team skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks
