About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review day-to-day money movement activity, including Fed funds wires, check disbursements, ACH transactions, and journal entries
  • Verify payment and disbursement instructions for completeness, accuracy, authorization, and alignment with requirements and procedures
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate potential issues to help prevent processing errors, fraud, or unauthorized activity
  • Monitor workflows and resolve money movement exceptions
  • Manage moderate to complex external client issues involving payment processing, disbursements, and transaction inquiries
  • Meet with business partners and support teams to resolve problems within expected timeframes
  • Provide analytics and reporting services supporting process improvement and automation
  • Participate in product development, enhancements, and system testing
  • Solve complex operational problems and deliver solutions for internal and external clients
  • Provide guidance and support to lower-level client processing roles
  • Allocate and review other team members’ work as needed
  • Contribute to team objectives through operational execution, risk awareness, and continuous process improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • 5-7 years of total work experience is preferred
  • Experience in brokerage processing is preferred
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business
  • Knowledge of system workflows, transaction processing requirements, and downstream impacts
  • Strong risk management and control awareness
