Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze complex entities and structures to evaluate business justification for Institutional Bank credit requests
Support the Bank's overall credit strategy
Drive business review processes for credit transactions
Review transaction term sheets, client revenue trends, and relationship-growth opportunities
Calculate returns on capital required for exposures
Evaluate exposure and revenue relative to other lenders
Work with business partners to establish business justification for credit requests
Conduct research and analysis supporting credit origination, underwriting, documentation, and monitoring
Assist lenders and management with existing credit portfolio monitoring, underwriting, and ad hoc research
Advise business partners on regulatory capital and liquidity implications of committed and uncommitted exposures
Develop and maintain internal stakeholder relationships
Support AI-enabled special projects and team investment-performance objectives

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree, related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Experience in credit, lending, banking, or financial and risk analysis preferred
Appreciation for regulatory capital and liquidity preferred
3-5 years of total work experience preferred
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel required
Experience with coding languages such as Python or SQL welcomed but not mandatory
Team-oriented approach
Demonstrated self-starter mindset
No direct-report management requirement
