About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently oversee a portfolio of existing client relationships and/or new prospects
  • Drive revenue growth by deepening and expanding existing relationships and cultivating new business
  • Advise senior client leadership on strategic objectives through a solutions-oriented approach
  • Identify leads within existing client accounts and through industry research and prospecting
  • Initiate contact with senior-level decision makers and influencers
  • Leverage the firm's product offerings to meet client needs and develop customized bundled cross-product offerings
  • Evaluate and structure deals, including pricing and contract terms
  • Share new or emerging market opportunities with product partners
  • Collaborate with client service, operations, marketing, legal, compliance, and other firm-wide teams
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including account planning, sales hygiene, profitability, retention, and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate client and deal information in eCRM and reporting platforms
  • Foster internal cross-collaboration and connect resources across the firm
  • Stay informed about the firm's products and offerings
  • Achieve organic incremental growth goals within the assigned client portfolio
  • Provide guidance to less experienced Client Coverage members as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred
  • Financial Services experience with a particular client type or product preferred
  • Prior experience in a related customer-facing role, Sales Support, Global Capital Markets or Product Management preferred
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business
  • Understanding of the relevant marketplace, competitive landscape and industry drivers preferred
  • Bi-lingual capabilities helpful
  • Understanding of local/cultural nuances important for client trust
  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred
