About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate business objectives, client requirements, operational needs, regulatory obligations, and technology considerations into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Own and prioritize the product backlog and influence product direction strategically
Serve as a thought leader and product expert within the product team and across the organization
Collaborate with product managers, Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders to align and execute product strategy
Own the operating model and product-related communications end-to-end
Leverage AI-enabled tools and analytical techniques to accelerate requirements analysis, identify patterns and trends, improve documentation quality, and support data-driven decision-making
Ensure AI is utilized appropriately within the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
6-8+ years of product owner experience managing product roadmaps, articulating requirements, and working with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment
Experience utilizing AI tools to support analysis, research, requirements development, process improvement, and decision-making activities
Experience writing business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business rules
Experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision
Deep knowledge and experience in agile methodologies
Ability to write well-defined stories and acceptance criteria and provide daily direction to an agile team
Prior experience in financial services strongly preferred
Knowledge of global custody, asset servicing, securities processing, settlements, cash management, or related custody functions preferred
