About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the identification and preparation of Substantial Shareholder disclosures and regulatory reports globally
- Perform data analysis, aggregation, and quality control
- Coordinate with Regulatory SMEs to operationalize regulator and legislative updates
- Prepare and oversee securities-related risk management reports for Senior Management
- Perform and oversee data management, quality control, and investigative research for regulatory reporting
- Communicate with domestic and international internal and external parties on data enhancement and reconciliation
- Drive continuous improvement and coordinate with Technology on process and report automation
- Leverage AI to streamline and modernize workflows
- Lead and support projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Oversee and recommend procedural and control changes
- Serve as an escalation point for complex reporting matters
- Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership support to team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Advanced/graduate degree preferred
- 5-8 years of total work experience preferred
- Proficient with MS Excel required
- Programming knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of the financial services industry required
- Experience and familiarity with equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, depository receipts, derivatives, securities lending, and collateral
- Strong collaborative skills preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic project management abilities required
- Prior operational and regulatory experience is a plus
