About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
- Analyze financial data, including plausibility and data quality checks
- Further develop and automate reporting processes
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and profitability calculations
- Conduct budget-versus-actual analyses and derive appropriate measures
- Support budget planning and forecasting
- Prepare KPIs and presentations for management
- Identify optimization opportunities in processes and tools
- Work closely with EMEA teams and the Shared Service Center
- Contribute to national and international projects
- Serve as a point of contact for controlling-related questions
- Ensure compliance with company-wide policies and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable field; alternatively, commercial training with relevant further qualifications
- Ideally 1–3 years of professional experience in controlling
- Strong analytical skills and an affinity for numbers
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI, as well as experience with SAP
- Sound understanding of accounting and controlling processes
- Ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data
- Structured working style, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
- Excellent time-management skills
- Fluent in German and English
