About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Functionally lead the Business Process Excellence community across a manufacturing network
Set direction, priorities, and standards while developing local BPE team capabilities
Define and execute the network Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with business priorities and manufacturing strategy
Drive productivity improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost-saving initiatives across manufacturing operations
Identify opportunities, prioritize improvement initiatives, and support execution through governance and performance management
Establish and evolve Operational Excellence standards, maturity assessments, KPI frameworks, capability-building programs, and best practices
Drive Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and data-driven decision-making
Translate strategic priorities into scalable operational solutions and long-term organizational capability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
Significant experience in Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Business Process Excellence within a regulated manufacturing environment
Proven experience leading Operational Excellence organizations, large-scale improvement programs, or multi-site initiatives, ideally including leadership in a matrix environment without direct authority
Demonstrated success delivering measurable productivity improvements, operational efficiencies, performance gains, and cost-saving initiatives
Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement methodologies, performance management, and organizational transformation
Lean Six Sigma certification is highly valued
Experience partnering with senior leaders and operating effectively within complex global matrix organizations
Excellent communication, influencing, and change leadership skills
Experience in Animal Health is an advantage but not required
