About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead innovative Cancer Cell Targeting research projects and take scientific responsibility for project strategy, experimental direction, and execution
- Advance novel therapeutic concepts in oncology and immunology
- Provide scientific leadership to multidisciplinary project teams
- Drive projects toward defined milestones and decision points in collaboration with experts across relevant disciplines
- Design and oversee experimental strategies to investigate mechanisms of action, establish biological hypotheses, and validate novel therapeutic approaches
- Identify emerging scientific opportunities, technologies, and biological concepts to strengthen the research portfolio
- Contribute to scientific publications and presentations
- Build and foster internal and external collaborations
- Communicate complex scientific findings and project strategies to multidisciplinary teams, senior stakeholders, and the scientific community
- Contribute to the department’s broader scientific strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD or equivalent degree in cancer biology, immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related life science discipline
- At least three years of postdoctoral experience
- Demonstrated scientific excellence and deep expertise in oncology, immunology, or related areas relevant to innovative cancer therapies
- Strong publication track record
- Ability to initiate, lead, and successfully advance complex scientific projects
- Ability to translate scientific hypotheses into actionable research strategies
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and highly collaborative teams
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire, influence, and align project teams in a matrix research environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to convey complex scientific concepts and project strategies clearly to specialist and broader audiences
