About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensures timely delivery of state-of-the-art scientific concepts, data measurements and analyses for decision making throughout clinical drug development and registration, including required processes and documentation
Ensures timely delivery of translational strategy development and implementation
May have line management responsibility, including capacity planning, hiring, onboarding, delegation, supervision, development goals, change and conflict management, mentoring, performance evaluation and cycle management
May act as representative in project teams for complex projects and regulatory meetings, including advisory boards
Leads complex clinical development project overarching topics from ExpMED
Leads internal and external initiatives and working groups
Scouts, evaluates, pilots and implements new methods and technologies
Develops new methods and technologies
Represents the area of responsibility at internal and external meetings, committees and panels
Identifies and implements collaborations and strategic partnerships with external bodies
Organizes and manages projects with external organizations such as CROs and AROs
Leads development and refinement of functional processes and infrastructure
Follows ICH GCP, relevant authority regulations and BI internal guidance, including requirements for sample chain of custody, data privacy, data integrity, EHS, pharmacovigilance and anti-corruption

Requirements

What you’ll need

English: fluent (Read / Write / Speak)
Mindful of local, global, internal, and external cultures to ensure that messages are received positively and effectively
Evidence of strong teamwork, also in global and remote context
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people, internally and externally (e.g., CROs, experts, management)
Ability to proactively identify issues and solutions and to interact with internal and external bodies on ExpMED issues
Ability to lead and facilitate meetings
Ability to develop and deliver training related ExpMED topics
Experience in project management and matrix leadership
