About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement BIPI Oncology sales and marketing plans to maximize product distribution and market penetration within company guidelines
  • Conduct business with key Oncology clinics, targeted Oncologists, and related Oncology healthcare specialists
  • Execute sales activities and strategic account planning across teaching and community hospitals, federal and military hospitals, integrated delivery networks, community practices, managed care networks, and other organized customers
  • Serve as a regional team leader and support strategic projects
  • Support business planning and peer development, including mentoring
  • Provide training on reimbursement marketplaces, managed care strategies, customer development, selling skills, territory analysis, and territory management
  • Support GPO pull-through and identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders
  • Lead or participate in national Oncology conventions, national meetings, brand planning, sales advisory boards, and national projects
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of BIPI Oncology products, the marketplace, and payer landscape
  • Deliver effective, customer-focused sales presentations and technical/scientific exchanges
  • Develop strategic account plans and identify stakeholders, relationships, opportunities, and account growth activities
  • Conduct value-based discussions with Healthcare Professionals and staff
  • Foster Oncology HCP network development and communication
  • Identify territory business needs and opportunities and establish strategic business plans
  • Collaborate with management, Oncology Marketing, Regional Marketing, National and Strategic Accounts, and other internal functions
  • Manage territory budgets and support regional and national thought leaders and KEEs
  • Analyze territory information, monitor local market conditions, optimize HCP calls, and adjust execution plans
  • Use Octopoda, Veeva, Multichannel Engagement, and other resources to achieve execution goals
  • Complete administrative responsibilities and required training
  • Manage Oncology accounts and marketplace influences through account profiling and execution
  • Understand market dynamics, referral processes, patient identification, stakeholders, and Oncology treatment delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA preferred
  • OSC II: 5 or more years of successful US pharmaceutical sales experience or other relevant healthcare experience, including 1 year of Oncology, or 3 years working with organized customers across the care network
  • Sr. OSC: 7 or more years of successful US pharmaceutical sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in Oncology Sales
  • Sr. OSC: At least 1 year of prior experience in account management, HUB services, specialty pharmacy collaboration, reimbursement navigation, market development, regional KEE engagement and relationship management, and navigating multiple customer types
  • Strategic Account Management skills with experience engaging complex customer types
  • Strong ability to engage customers using company-provided virtual platforms
  • Efficient engagement across multiple company-provided virtual platforms
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to translate scientific information about products, competitors, science, and marketplace to Oncology customers
  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 25%, including overnights and some weekend programs
  • Ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with Oncologists and other Oncology healthcare providers
  • Ability to communicate effectively about Oncology science, knowledge, and marketplace
  • Current, in-depth knowledge of Oncology science, competitive therapies, clinical pathways, and marketplace changes
  • Ability to master and apply clinical Oncology reprint content
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Willingness to take a drug test and post-offer physical, if required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Successful launch experience preferred
  • Experience in rare disease markets preferred
