About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Respond to incoming service requests via phone, email, and direct toolset tickets
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot initial hardware and software issues
  • Provide solutions or escalate issues to higher-level support
  • Document interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Assist with account management, password resets, and access issues
  • Maintain knowledge of IT policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Collaborate with IT teams and resolver groups on complex issues and service improvements
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and user documentation
  • Submit improvement proposals and enhancements supporting contractual obligations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to gain SC clearance / obtain United Kingdom Security Check
  • Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure or through demanding challenges
  • Familiarity with common operating systems and software applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of ITIL best practice methodology
  • Must live in the immediate Bristol area or relocate at own expense
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Shift Worker (United Kingdom)
