About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply industrial engineering concepts and techniques to optimize products, processes, and services
  • Integrate systems, tools, and processes to define, develop, and improve the production system
  • Develop plant layouts, capacity plans, and workflows
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies into production and service operations
  • Support execution planning to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing outcomes
  • Design, maintain, and optimize production systems integrating product design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel
  • Conduct workflow design and analysis to improve operational efficiency and quality
  • Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide metrics to leaders and customers
  • Research, design, and implement processes and tools to improve schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality
  • Prepare operations plans, including budgeting, capacity analysis, and production change management
  • Support project management, planning, scheduling, and shop load practices
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines
  • Integrate supply chain considerations into production planning, including supplier capacity alignment, material flow optimization, and inventory strategy
  • Partner with procurement, suppliers, logistics, and operations teams on supply chain solutions, lead-times, and supplier performance metrics
  • Use data and digital tools to improve demand-supply visibility and reduce supply variability
  • Partner with manufacturing assembly technicians and cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 2+ years work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education
  • U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required by the U.S. Government
  • Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance required post-start
  • Ability to obtain program access; U.S. Citizenship required
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process
  • Compliance with drug and alcohol testing requirements when criteria are met
