Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software product designs
Develop interface definitions
Perform unit and integration testing
Participate in peer reviews
Support software system integration and testing
Create software documentation
Support Boeing Defense, Space & Security software engineering in a multi-contract and multi-program environment
Develop solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation
Adapt to new development environments and learn new technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
Active Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship Required
Ability to obtain Top Secret & Special Program Access
U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance
Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
3+ years of experience in C++ and C#
3+ years of experience with Linux development
3+ years of experience with git or similar version control system
3+ years of experience in software architecture development and open architectures
3+ years with network architectures and software applications communicating through TCP/UDP-based networks
Ability to complete a required CodeVue technical assessment
Successful completion of the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
Knowledge of host environments, processors, operating systems, and networks
Ability to build, integrate, and troubleshoot software components
Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies
Knowledge of software development processes, standards, guidelines, and best practices
Knowledge of software development and testing tools
Knowledge of software implementation, validation, and verification processes
